At the urging of
his then-teammate Adam Dunn, White Sox lefty Chris Sale has been sneaking vocabulary
words into his postgame comments.
Yesterday, after throwing eight inning of two-hit shutout ball, Sale
worked “quixotic” into the conversation.
Personally, I would’ve used “splendiferous.” How better to describe a starting pitcher
with an ERA of 1.99 and 192 strikeouts in a mere 163 innings?
Or “fast.” Just like Mark Buehrle, Sale gets the ball and
