This White Sox roster must have made sense at some point, just as assembling a coaching staff headed by Tony La Russa did. Those days are long gone. Last night, after the Sox lost 7-3 in Toronto, La Russa offered this explanation of why Michael Kopech gave up five runs in three innings of work—too much rest, nine days of it, in fact.
