These Bulls are a curious lot. Two days after giving up 50 fourth-quarter points and a seventeen-point lead in an embarrassing loss to the Hawks, they top the Bucks at home, 116-111. Oh, and they lost to the Bucks by 21 five days before that. Josh Giddey, who came over in the trade that sent Alex Caruso to the Thunder, managed a triple-double in under 30 minutes. Huh? And Nikola Vucevic scored 23 while grabbing thirteen rebounds. Huh? And Lonzo Ball managed to play nineteen minutes off the bench without injury. Huh?? The next two games, against Charlotte and Washington, are there for the taking. Two more wins would put the Bulls within two games of .500 going into a meeting with the Thibodeau Knicks. Fingers crossed.
